Regency Rosewood Open Bookcase

Description

Good quality and neat size Regency rosewood open front bookcase or pier cabinet, circa 1820 and in good condition.

The shelves can be removed if you needed to hold taller books as they just lift out.

Good consistent colour tone and wonderful beeswax finish.

This is a handy shallow depth too.

Measuring:

49 inches or 125 cm maximum height

42 inches or 107 cm wide

12 3/4 inches or 32.5 cm deep

34 1/2 inches or 88 cm main surface height

Bottom shelf height 25 cm

Middle 21 cm

Viewing here in Uppingham is very welcome in my spacious barn studio but also I have a showroom based within the Uppingham Antiques Centre, which is well worth a visit and have a good lunch in town too!
