9ct gold Waltham trench watch, 1912.

The watch has a 15-jewel hand-winding movement, grade 115, which is working nicely. The nicely patterned plates are fully signed and the serial number 18,329,616 dates it back to 1912.

The watch measures 32mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the fixed wire lugs. The case is 9ct rose gold and it is hallmarked inside the hinged case back for Birmingham 1914 with a case maker's mark for Aaron Dennison... the Dennison Watch Case Company supplied Waltham UK with the majority of their watches. The case is in good condition, just light marking and a little unevenness to the hinged case back. The back of the watch is signed with the name of a previous owner, probably the original owner, E F-Biddiscombe.

The lens is in lovely condition.

The signed dial is in lovely condition with blued steel hands and an outer minute track.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
