Description

This Georgian Mahogany Chest of Drawers offers plenty of useful storage space. The four pine lined drawers all run smoothly and are lifted stylistically by the lovely old brass plate handles that adorn each one.

The elegant line of the bracket feet adds a degree of sophistication to what is primarily a simple design. The sides of the chest are pine, something that was quite common in the day due to the expense of the Mahogany veneer, but the pine has aged down to fit in well with the Mahogany.

The chest itself displays its age and wear with pride and has faded to a very pleasing lighter tone, whilst retaining a wonderful patina.

Supplied with working key.
