The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The watch has a seven-jewel stem-winding movement, grade 610, which is working nicely.
The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50.8mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and is the Star model made by the Dennison Watch Case Company, the company supplied the majority of the cases for Waltham UK. The case has minor surface marking from use but otherwise it is in nice condition.

The winding crown pushes in to release the front cover, it opens a little further than the original 90 degrees. Inside there is a glass lens which is in nice condition.
The signed dial is in nice condition with blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track with red 5 minute markers.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
