The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1950s.
The watch has a 21-jewel hand-winding movement, calibre 7AA, which is working nicely.

The watch measures 21mm wide excluding the winding crown and 29mm high excluding the lugs so it is a mid-size piece which would suit a slimer wrist. The case is 10k rolled gold plated. There is a little rubbing in places, and little surface marks across the case back. The case back also has the same date code for 1953.

The lens is in lovely condition.
The signed dial is in its original finish which has light marking across it. Original hands and a small subsidiary seconds dial.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch comes in a very stylish 1950s Bulova watch box, there is some marking to the lining and discolouration to the box but still good to have.
The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1950s.
