The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The watch has a grade 315 15-jewel stem-winding movement which is working nicely. This is a good quality movement with patterned plates, screw set jewels and Moseley regulator. This particular grade was in production for many years, from 1904 right up until 1940. The movement is fully signed and the serial number 27350687 dates it back to 1925.

The watch measures 43mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case was made by Fahys for Elgin and it is their Bristol model which is white gold filled. It is beautifully decorated including an Art Nouveau design to the hinged case back. There is some slight unevenness to the case back but overall the condition is very nice.

The acrylic lens is in lovely condition.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
