Description

Antique silver Frigott pocket watch, 1925.

The watch has a 15-jewel stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner hinged dust cover.

The watch measures 49mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside the two case backs for Birmingham 1925 together with a case maker's mark for Aaron Dennison, the Dennison Watch Case Company was a Birmingham based manufacturer of cases, supplying many watch makers.

The front and sides of the case are in very nice condition. The hinged case back has a few “pin prick” marks and a little gentle unevenness.

The dial has blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track. There are a few little hairlines beneath the sub seconds dial.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
