Gents 1950s Favre Leuba Daymatic Wrist Watch

Gents 1950s Favre Leuba Daymatic wrist watch.

The watch has an in-house 21-jewel FL104 automatic movement which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed with the Favre Leuba name.

The calibre FL104 Daymatic was introduced in the late 1950s along with the FL103 version without a date feature.

The watch measures 34mm diamter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is stainless steel and it is in good condition. The screw-on case back has various details about the watch but it is quite rubbed and a little tricky to read. It does state that the watch is waterproof but, as with any vintage watch, it should be kept away from water and moisture.

The lens is in lovely condition.

The signed dial is in its original finish with original dauphine shaped hands, centre seconds and date display (not quickset). Age related colouring to the dial but overall it has a really good look.

A new leather strap with contrasting white stitching has been fitted.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
