The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1960s.
The watch has an in-house 17-jewel hand-winding movement, calibre 280, which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and the serial number 11,531,582 dates it back to 1960.
The watch measures 34mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs.
The Poinçon de Maître (registration mark) tells us that Longines brought the case from the case maker Classicor SA of La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. The case is in lovely condition.
