Gents 9ct gold Longines wrist watch, 1960.

The watch has an in-house 17-jewel hand-winding movement, calibre 280, which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and the serial number 11,531,582 dates it back to 1960.

The watch measures 34mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is 9 carat gold and there are hallmarks inside the case back for London 1961with an importer's mark for Baume & Co, importers of Longines watches to the UK and the British Empire. The Poinçon de Maître (registration mark) tells us that Longines brought the case from the case maker Classicor SA of La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. The case is in lovely condition.

The lens is in lovely condition.

The signed dial is in super condition with original dauphine hands and seconds sweep.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
