Description

Antique Waltham Bond Street full hunter pocket watch.

The watch has a stem-winding movement, Bond Street grade, which is working well. The movement is fully signed and the serial number, 8401634 which dates it back to 1897. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch itself measures 50.4mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is 14 ct gold filled and was made by the Dennison Watch Case Company. The case has light surface marking from use and some light wear to the engine turned detail but overall it is in nice condition for an 1890s piece. The front cover has a cartouche with monogrammed initials

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. Inside there is a glass lens which is in good condition.

The signed white enamel dial is in nice condition.

The watch has its original blued steel hands.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
