The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1900s.
The watch has a seven jewel key-wound movement, Home Watch Co grade, which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and the serial number 7,265,165 dates it back to around 1900. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover which has a small “ding”.
The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the stem and the loop.
Overall the case is in good condition for such an early piece, just a few little “dings” on the back but nothing serious at all.
The later acrylic lens is in lovely condition.
The signed dial has a few short hairlines but they are faint.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1900s.
