The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1930s.
The watch has a Swiss 15-jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed Pierce Watch Co Inc.
From the 1930s, Pierce designed and produced their own movements and in the 1950s the company was commissioned to produce a pilots watch.

The watch measures 25mm wide excluding the winding crown and 31mm high excluding the lugs. The case is 9 carat rose gold and there are hallmarks on the back of the watch for Edinburgh 1934. The case back has some unevenness but overall acceptable for a 1930s piece.

The convex lens is in good condition.
The signed dial is in its original finish with blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dialand an outer minute track.
A later leather strap has been fitted.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
