The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1920s.
This particular watch has a good quality stem-winding movement which is working well. The movement has jewelled pallets and a micro regulator. The movement is signed Lanier, a brand name registered by various companies.

The watch itself measures 53mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold filled and is the Fortune model made by the American Watch Case Company. The case has a screw on front and back, a nice sign of quality. The case is in nice condition with just light surface marking but nothing too detrimental at all.

The glass lens is in nice condition.
The dial is signed Lanier. It has has several very faint hairline cracks. Blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track with red five-minute markers.
The watch will come in a new presentation box.
