English 18ct Gold Half Hunter Pocket Watch. Made by well know Goldsmiths Bracher and Sydenham, Minster Street, Reading.This half hunter pocket watch in a English 18ct gold case with Hall marks for London 1888. Top wind and time change circa 1890. External Black Roman chapter ring over white enamel dial with black Roman hours and blued steel hands with subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o/c. The movement signed in engraved script Bracher & Sydenham 56 Minster Street Reading. Engraved monogram to reverse of case.
 
overall very good condition.
 
This well reputed firm was further enhanced by personal visits to the shop from King Edward VII, who granted them the Royal warrant, his sister, Princess Christian of Schleswig-Holstein, and, later, Queen Mary.
