Neat Vintage Gilded Italian Chest of Drawers

Description

This is a pretty early 20th century Italian hand painted and gilded chest of drawers with a very attractive serpentine shape to the body of the chest. The gilded detail has a lovely antique finish and the shaped drawers have their original solid brass knobs. The carved cabriole legs raise the chest on a serpentine carved plinth base. The top surface has had some wear, more so than the cabinet which is in nice original condition. This is a nice neat size measuring 80 cms high 80 cms wide by 37 cms deep.
