Antique Georgian Mahogany Chest on Chest of Drawers C1780 Wdb1355-2/6.4

Description

Antique george 111 mahogany chest on chest and dating form aorund 1780. It has a deep cornice top with dental moulding and above a carved frieze with two short drawers over three long graduating drawers and with a reeded 1/4 column to either side. The base is moulded to the top and has three long graduating drawers and it stands on ogee bracket feet. All of the drawers are pine lined and it has later brass handles and key escutcheons. The top lifts off the base for ease of transporting.

This is a lovely georgian chest on chest in very good condition with lovely deep colour and patination to the mahogany and oozes the charm and the character of the period.

Measures: 66" high X 22" deep X 47" wide
