The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1940s.
The watch has a 15-jewel hand-winding movement, calibre 26.5 SOB, which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and the serial number 9,203,799 dates it back to around 1940.

The watch measures 30mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is the 'waterproof' stainless steel model but we would strongly advise keeping it away from water and moisture as it will not now be waterproof. The ends of the lugs have been braised to compensate for wear to the tips. There is light marking to the case but overall very acceptable for a piece of its age.

The lens is in good condition.
The signed dial has darkened with age and there is some raised pale freckling. Blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.
A later leather strap has been fitted.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
