The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1930s.
The watch has a Swiss 15-jewel stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop.
The lens to the front is surrounded by enamel filled Roman numerals.

The winding crown pushes in to reveal the dial, signed Bravingtons, London. Renown was a brand name used by the London jeweller / retailer Bravingtons for watches sold under their name. The brand name was registered by Bravingtons in 1935. The dial is in lovely condition with blued steel hands, including the special half hunter hour hand, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

The acrylic lens is in lovely condition.
The watch comes with a gold plated double albert with each chain measuring 25cm including the T-bar and the clasp.
The watch and chain will be sent in a new presentation box.
