The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1930s.
The movement is signed Rands Lever on the ratchet wheel.

The brand name Rands was registered by Rotherham & Sons of London and La Chaux-de-Fonds in 1928.
The watch measures 49.3mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside the hinged case back for Birmingham 1933 together with a case maker's mark for Aaron Dennison who supplied many watch makers with cases. The case is in nice condition with only minor marking from use.

The glass lens is in nice condition with only minor marking from use.
The dial is in nice condition and has original blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.
The watch comes with a single silver graduated chain, 28cm long including the T-bar and the clasp.

The chain has the lion passant on each link and has Birmingham hallmarks for 1907 with the makers mark for Herbert Bushell & son.
The chain weighs 30 grams.
The watch and chain will be sent in a new presentation box.
