The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1950s.
The watch has a good quality 21 jewel ETA movement which is working nicely.
The watch measures 35mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs.
The screw-on case back states that the watch is waterproof but, as with any vintage watch, it should be kept away from water and moisture.

The lens is in good condition.
The dial is signed Limit... Limit were importers of watches into the UK, and they were based in Oldham in Lancashire, UK. The dial is in its original finish with original dauphine shaped hands, seconds sweep and an early form of quickset date where the hands are moved repeatedly backwards and forwards between 12 midnight and 7pm until the desired date is reached.
The watch comes with a beads of rice style strap which currently fits a 17cm wrist although there is room to make it around 1.5cm smaller via the clasp.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
