Description

Antique 1920s Limit pocket watch.

The watch has a Swiss stem-winding movement which is working well. The movement was made by Thommen for Limit and is signed Limit, Swiss made. The movement is protected by an inner hinged dust cover with some light surface scratches and bruising.

The watch measures 50.4mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and is the Star model made by the Dennison Watch Case Company. The case has light surface marks from use and some shallow indentations but overall it is in nice condition for a 1920s piece.

The acrylic lens is in nice condition.

The dial is signed Limit and has a couple of light surface scratches between 4 & 5 o'clock but otherwise it is in nice condition.

The watch has its original blued steel hands.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
