Antique 1908 Waltham Pocket Watch.

Description

Antique 1908 Waltham pocket watch.

The watch has a stem-winding movement, Traveler grade, which is working well. The movement is fully signed and the serial number 17515597 which dates it back to 1908. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50.6mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the stem. The case is gold plated and is the Star model made by the Denison Watch Case Company. The case has minor marking from use and some light wear to the outer edge of the back but overall it is in nice condition for a 1908 piece.

The acrylic lens is in nice condition with only minor marking from use.

The signed white dial is in nice condition.

The watch has its original blued steel hands.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
