Antique 1908 Swiss Silver Pocket Watch.

Description

Antique 1908 Swiss silver pocket watch.

The watch has a high grade nicely jewelled Swiss stem-winding movement which is working well. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover which has some marking from use.

The watch measures 49mm diameter excluding the stem and the loop. The case is silver and has London import marks for 1908 and the importers mark for William Henry Sparrow. The case has the odd minor mark to the back but overall it is in nice condition with crisp engine turned detail on the back with a vacant cartouche to the centre.

The glass lens is in nice condition.

The white enamel dial is in nice condition.

The watch has its original blued steel hands.

The watch will come in a new presentation box.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
