Antique 1920 Waltham Pocket Watch.

Description

Antique 1920 Waltham pocket watch.

The watch has a stem-winding movement, Traveler grade, which is working well. The movement is fully signed and the serial number 23401837 which dates it back to 1920. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover which has some light surface scratches from use.

The watch measures 50.3mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the stem. The case is gold plated and was made by the Illinois Watch Case Company. The case has some light surface marking from use but overall it is in nice condition for a 1920 piece.

The glass lens is in nice condition.

The signed white dial is in nice condition.

The watch has its original blued steel hands.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
