The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1960s.
The watch has a 23 jewel automatic movement, 11BLACD, which is working nicely. As well as being signed, it has the date code for 1969.
The watch measures 35mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is stainless steel.
Original Bulova winding crown.

Interestingly the case back has an image of a dancing lady. The reasoning for this is not clear but it could be a modernised version of an elegant dancing lady who first appeared in Bulova adverts in the 1920s. The inner case back has the same date code for 1969.

The lens is in lovely condition.
The signed dial is in lovely original condition with original hands, seconds sweep and date display (an early form of quickset which is initially set by turning the hands backwards and forwards between 10pm and 1am until the desired date is reached).
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
