1920s Birks pocket watch.

Birks was established by Henry Birks in 1879 when he opened a small jewellery boutique in Montreal. The company was, and continues to be, incredibly successful and is very well regarded.

The watch has an American 15-jewel stem-winding movement which is working nicely.

The watch measures 46mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is the gold filled Fortune model by the American Watch Case Company who were based in Canada. It is in very nice condition. The inside of the screw-on case back has initials and a date of January 1920.

The watch glass is in lovely condition.

The dial, signed with the Birks name, is in super condition and has its original bued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
