Superb Quality Victorian Antique Mahogany Chiffonier / Sideboard

This Superb Quality Victorian Antique Mahogany Chiffonier / Sideboard / Cupboard circa, 1870 has a beautifully shaped back with elegant scrolled carvings and above a beautifully figured top with half round moulded edge. Beneath are two mahogany lined frieze drawers above two beautifully figured cupboard doors with arched mouldings and and pilasters down either side. The interior has a four shelves. This superb antique cupboard stands on a moulded inverted break-fronted plinth. The mahogany has aged to a rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
