Description

Vintage 1930s silver Syren pocket watch and chain.

The watch has a Swiss stem-winding movement which is working well. The nicely jewelled movement is signed Syren, Swiss made.

The watch measures 49mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside the case back for Birmingham 1931, with a case maker's mark for the English Watch Case Company. The case has light surface marking from use and some mild bruising to the back but overall it is in nice condition for a 1930s piece.

The acrylic lens is in nice condition.

The white enamel dial is in nice condition with original blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

The watch comes with a single chain, probably Continental silver. The chain measures 29cm long plus the clasps.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
