The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1910s.
The watch has a stem-winding movement Traveler grade, which is working well. The movement is signed American Waltham, U.S.A. Traveler and the serial number 18307240 which dates it back to 1912. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch itself measures 50.5mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and is the Star model made by the Dennison Watch Case Company.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. Inside there is a glass lens which is in nice condition.
The signed dial has a faint hairline crack between 6 o'clock and the sub seconds dial but otherwise it is in nice condition.
The watch has its original gold hands and a blued steel sub seconds hand.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
