Description

A 1930s silver Waltham pocket watch.

The watch has a stem-winding movement,grade 610, which is working well. The movement is fully signed and the serial number 27176398 which dates it back to 1930. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch itself measures 49mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside both case backs for Birmingham 1931 with a maker’s mark for the Dennison Watch Case Company. The case has light surface marking from use and a couple of tiny mild bruises to the back but overall it is in nice condition for a 1930s piece.

The glass lens has minor marking from use although very acceptable.

The signed white enamel dial has a very faint hairline crack between 7 & 8 o'clock although not noticeable to the naked eye.

The watch has its original blued steel hands.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
