The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1900s.
The movement is fully signed and the serial number 16,878,693 dates it back to around 1908. It is working nicely and is all protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is 14ct gold filled and was originally guaranteed to wear for 25 years. The case is in lovely condition. The front cover has enamel filled Roman numerals around a central lens.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. Inside there is a glass lens which is in lovely condition.
The signed dial is in lovely condition, just one short faint hairline underneath the subsidiary seconds dial but difficult to see with the naked eye. Blued steel hands including the special half hunter hour hand so that the time can be read when the front cover is closed.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
