It has a moulded cornice with dental moulding above an unusual inlaid frieze and has three smaller over six graduating drawers with moulded edges and oval brass handles. The corners have reeded columns and this charming antique chest on chest stands on shaped bracket feet and splits into two sections for easy removal. The oak has aged to a warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
