The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1940s.
The watch has a 17-jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed Georges Beguelin. The company was founded in 1946 and had sites in both Geneva and Roconvillier. As well as selling Beguelin branded watches, the company also supplied movements for other manufacturers including Marconi watches, a sub-brand of Rolex (Beguelin movements were never used in Rolex watches).

The watch measures 33mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is stainless steel and it is in very nice condition, as is the lens.
The dial is in its original finish which is in good condition, just a little marking.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
