Description

Gents large 1953 Doxa wrist watch.

The watch has a Swiss hand-winding movement, signed twice with the Doxa name, which is working nicely.

The watch is an excellent size at 38mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is chrome plated (possibly re-chromed) and it is in very nice condition, just some pitting to the back of the watch, around the opening to the movement.

The lens has a couple of scratches but they are light.

The signed dial has been re-finished to a high standard. Original feuille shaped hands, centre seconds hand and outer minute markers.

A later leather strap has been fitted.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
