Pair of English Antique Apothecary Chest of Drawers

This wonderful pair of 19th century antique mahogany apothecary chests were originally made for a herbalist shop in Lancashire. They are both the same size and are in very good condition with all the original glass knob handles and most of the drawers have the name of the herb / plant that they once contained. Such as, Marshmallow Leaves, Agrimony, Coltsfoot, Dwarf Elder, Thyme, Boxwood Bark and many more. Lovely to find a pair, this decorative pair of antique mahogany apothecary / chemists chests date from around 1870.
