The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1910s.
The watch has a stem winding movement which is working well. The movement is stamped Buren, 10 jewels, Swiss made. The movement is protected by a fitted cover signed H.Samuel, Manchester, patented jewelled lever, Swiss, it also has an inner hinged cover.
The watch measures 50.5 mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and has London import marks for 1918 with the importers mark for H Samuel. The inner dust cover has various medals and is signed Acme lever.

The acrylic lens is in nice condition.
The dial is signed Acme lever, H.Samuel, Manchester with Swiss made at the bottom. The dial has a couple of very faint hairline cracks although hardly noticeable.
The watch has its original gold hands and blued steel sub seconds hand.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
