Fitted with original circular brass decorative back-plate ring handles , brass key escutcheons and locks (no key) .

The cock-beaded cedar and mahogany-lined drawers with quarter dust-beaded corner interiors and well-selected figured flame mahogany ‘book-matched’ veneered fronts.
Gently graduated drawer depths , 7” to 8.5 and 9.5” .

Raised on elegant swept bracket feet , the base with a shaped apron and a box-wood inlaid line .
In excellent original condition with only minor historic ring marks to the top commensurate with age , use and purpose. Retaining original polished finish and patina , the top with a mellow , faded colour and contrasting cross-banding .
A well-proportioned mahogany chest of drawers combining practical storage with Regency period elegance .Has been cleaned and waxed in our workshops ready to use.
