The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1960s.
The watch has a hand-winding movement, calibre 0104, which is working nicely.
The watch itself measures 33.5mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is 9 carat gold and there are hallmarks inside the screw-on case back for Birmingham 1960.
The back of the watch has a 1960 inscription from Bristol Siddeley British, the aero engine manufacturer.

The lens is in good condition.
The signed dial is in lovely condition. Original dauphine hands, centre seconds and red pointer end.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
