Antique 1915 Silver Limit pocket watch & chain.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working nicely. Limit is a company based in Oldham in the UK who imported Swiss movements from Thommen. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover which has light surface marking from use.

The watch measures 49.5mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside the two case backs for Birmingham 1915. The case is in nice condition with nice crisp engine turned detail to the back.

The glass lens is in good condition.

The white enamel dial has a couple of very faint hairline cracks to the outer edge but otherwise it is in nice condition.

The watch has its original blued steel hands.

The watch comes on a graduated silver albert chain with Birmingham hallmarks for 1889.

The chain measures 33cm including the T bar and clasp. ( A later no silver clasp has been fitted)

The chain weighs 32.3 grams.

The watch & chain will be sent in a new presentation box.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
