The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1890s.
The movement has a fitted inner cover. A winding key is included.

The watch measures 56.3mm diameter excluding the stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside both of the case backs for Chester 1893, and the case maker's mark for Jesse Hallam watch case maker, Hertford Place, Coventry . The case has minor marking from use but overall it is in nice condition.

The glass lens is in nice condition with only a small nibble to the bottom edge.
The off white enamel dial has is in nice condition.
The watch has gold hands and a blued steel sub seconds hand.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
