Description

 For sale this rare G.N.R. (I)  Great Northern Railway, Ireland, pocket watch, issue no 66, by Omega, dating pre 1922. This fine example is housed in its original fully signed Omega front opening case. A large heavy watch with a diameter of 58.5 mm excluding stem and crown, 85mm inclusive stem, crown, and bow, and 18.5mm in depth. Fully signed Omega dial in excellent original and unrestored condition, with deep blued handset. Fine fully signed Omega 7 jewel movement adjusted to 2 positions.  GNR (I) 66 markings to the case back. The watch is just back for a complete overhaul and is now in fine working order.  A rare example of a seldom encountered GNR Ireland pocket watch.
