The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1890s.
The watch has a 13 jewel stem-winding movement, A.W.Co grade, which is working nicely. The gilt movement is fully signed and the serial number 9260143 which dates it back to 1899. This particular movement had a total production of only 21580 in total. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 52mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold filled and was made by Fahys Watch Case Company. The case is in very nice condition, with just minor marking from use.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. Inside there is a glass lens which is in good condition. The signed dial has some very faint hairline cracks although not noticeable to the naked eye.
The watch has its original gold hands and a blued steel sub seconds hand.
The watch will come in a new presentation box.
