The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1910s.
The watch has a stem-winding movement, Traveler grade, which is working nicely. The movement is signed American Waltham U.S.A., Traveler and the serial number 19872640 which dates it back to 1914.

The watch measures 51.2mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and is the Empress model made by the American Watch Case Company. The case has light surface marking from use but otherwise it is in nice condition. The case is good quality with screw-on bezel and case back.

The acrylic lens is in nice condition.
The watch has its original blued steel hands.
The watch comes on a vintage chain which measures 24 cm including the clasps.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
