The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch itself measures 49mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the stem. The case is silver and there are silver import marks inside the two case backs for London 1929 with a case importers mark for William Henry Sparrow. The case has light surface marking from use and some mild bruising to the back covers but overall it is in nice condition for a 1920s piece.

The watch glass is in good condition with only light marking from use and a tiny nibble to the outer edge at 2 o'clock.
The white enamel dial is in nice condition. Blued steel Breguet style hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

The watch comes with a single chain & fob the chain measures 24.5cm long including the T-bar and the clasp. Each of the links has the lion silver mark and the T-bar is hallmarked for 1911. The fob is hallmarked for Birmingham 1920.
The watch and chain will come in a new presentation box.
