The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1930s.
The watch has a Swiss 15-jewel stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement was made by Thommen for Limit and is signed Limit, Swiss made. Limit were importers of watches into the UK, and they were based in Oldham in Lancashire, UK.

The movement is protected by an inner cover which has the inscription, 'JBR 11/10/33'.
The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop.
.. the Dennison Watch Case Company was an English manufacturer who supplied various manufacturers with cases. The front of the case is in good condition, the hinged case back has some fairly gentle unevenness.

The watch glass is in good condition just a couple of light marks.
The signed dial has some very faint hairline cracks but they are only visible through a magnifying loupe.
The watches come with an antique silver double albert, each chain measures 21cm long including the T-bar and clasp. The T-bar is hallmarked for 1902 and each of the links has the lion silver mark. The chain weighs 43.9g.
The watch and chain will come in a new presentation box.
