Description

A 1920s silver Trojan pocket watch.

The watch has a Swiss stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is stamped Trojan, 7 jewels, adjusted, Swiss made and ‘safety barrel’, a safety barrel prevents

damage to the movement in the advent of the mainspring breaking. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch itself measures 49mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The silver case has Birmingham hallmarks for 1928 with the makers mark for the Dennison Watch Case Company. The case has a nicely engine turned back and a coin edge. It is in nice condition with only the odd small "ding".

The watch lens is acrylic and is in nice condition with only minor marking from use.

The signed white enamel dial is in nice condition.

The watch has its original gold hands and a blued steel sub seconds hand.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
