The nicely patterned plates are fully signed and the serial number 10,030,800 dates it to around 1900. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 48mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is the 9ct gold plated Star model from the Dennison Watch Case Company, the company manufactured cases for Waltham UK. There are some pin prick “dings” to the front and back covers, and a short mark where the loop has been pressed into the case at some stage.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover.
Inside there is an acrylic lens which is in good condition.
The signed dial is in good condition, just a small chip to the very edge which is mostly covered by the bezel. Blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
