Description

Antique 1920s silver pocket watch by Revue Thommen.

The watch has a Revue stem-winding movement which is working well. Records show that Alphonse Thommen began using the Revue name at the beginning of the 1900s. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 49mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and has Birmingham hallmarks for 1927 with the case makers mark for the English Watch case Manufacturing Company. The case has light surface marking from use and the odd small "ding" but overall it is in nice condition for a 1920s piece. The watch loope is steel and a later replacement although antique.

The glass lens is in nice condition.

The dial is in nice condition and has blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
