The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1890s.

The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover which has a sunburst pattern to the inside.
The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and loop.
The front of the case is in good condition while there is a little unevenness to the case back and a couple of surface scratches.

The glass lens is in good condition.
The signed dial has its original blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers. There is a hairline crack running down from number 11 towards number 8.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
