Description

A 1910s Equity pocket watch by Waltham.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed with both the Equity Watch Co, Boston, U.S.A. seven jewels. Equity was one of the names registered and used by Waltham. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch itself measures 50.2mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and is the Fortune model made by the American Watch Case Company… who made the case for the Equity Watch Co. The case has a screw on front and back. The case has light surface marking from use and light wear to the bow but overall it is in nice condition for a 1910s piece.

The acrylic lens is in good condition.

The signed dial is in nice condition with blued steel Breguet style hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
